Acadiana Foot Centers has four locations within the South Louisiana area to serve you in Lafayette, Morgan City, Breaux Bridge and Jennings. Some of the more common problems we deal with are ingrown toenails, heel pain, bunions and hammertoes.

Ingrown Toenails
Most people don’t realize that ingrown toenails can be corrected permanently and easily in the office in one appointment with little or no down time.

Heel Pain
Heel pain is probably the most common condition that we treat. Most patients respond quickly to simple treatments without the need for surgery. However, surgical repair is available if needed.

Bunions and Hammertoes
Bunions and hammertoes are hereditary deformities which are repaired on a routine basis. Most bunions and hammertoes can be corrected with a simple outpatient procedure, and with the patient remaining able to walk the entire recovery period.

Diabetic Foot Care
Diabetic foot care is one of the most important things a diabetic can do. Proper trimming of toenails, corns and callouses is very important. Also, the wearing of proper shoes (diabetic shoes and inserts) is highly recommended and is covered by Medicare. Inspection of your feet on a daily basis is essential to a diabetic’s health. Diabetic foot ulcers are routinely treated in office as well as on an outpatient basis.
